BikeWise is the initiative of husband and wife team Jo and Patrick Jones. Through their interest in cycling they became aware of the Cyclist Instructor Scheme in the UK and found time to train to the UK National Standard in late 2006.

They brought these skills back to Australia and combined with their own experience and knowledge of cycling in Sydney they established BikeWise in 2008
